  1. BUBBLEGUM CRISIS THEME PACK FOR WINDOWS 95 AND WIN-NT WITH THE NEW SHELL!

  10.      Well, thanks for downloading my Bubblegum Crisis theme. I better tell
  11. you how this works. All you need to do is unzip it into the directory
  12. MS-Plus put your themes. It will create a directory called
  13. "Bubblegum_Crisis" (the miracles of long filenames), and put the necessary
  14. files in there. Then, you just need to start "Desktop Themes" under
  15. Control Panel, and select this one.

  17.      A couple of warnings. There's no screen saver module here. So, you
  18. MAY have to reinstall your screen saver. It does use an 800x600 wallpaper,
  19. but it selects auto-size to screen. It properly fit on my screen when I
  20. tried it. The reason I did it in 800x600 is that I run at 800x600, and
  21. I wanted to use an image editor for the resizing, not MS-Plus' built-in
  22. resizer (which leaves VERY poor quality screen fits, trust me!).

  24.      The Icon files SHOULD work (I had to add a border to them, which Win95
  25. eats off on my computer).

  27.      Now, I've got to say that this is an E-Mail-ware theme pack. The
  28. registration cost is a piece of E-Mail or a postcard/letter, just to let me
  29. know that you're using it. Please include any suggestions for improvements,
  30. too.

  37.      This is version .75a, it now includes a logo.sys, logos.sys, and
  38. logow.sys, but not a screensaver. .9a will include the animated cursors,
  39. and 1.0 will include a screensaver and an install program (hopefully! :)

  41.      If anyone out there knows how to write a screensaver, PLEASE tell me!
  42. Version 1.0 will be delayed until I learn how. (FYI, I legally own a copy
  43. of Watcom C++ 10.5, and will be writing the module in that, if possible)
